The opening is brisk and curious: juniper cuts a clean, piney streak through the oregano’s herbaceous warmth, while the leather note sits quietly in the background, more suede than hide. It feels synthetic in the best way—polished, not raw, and definitely not barnyard animalic. Within minutes the heart softens into a dusky, almost sweet cocoa powder dusted over myrrh’s resinous glow, with akigalawood adding a peppery, woody lift that keeps things from going cloying. The drydown settles into a cozy, balsamic haze of styrax and labdanum, where Haitian vetiver provides a dry, earthy counterpoint. This is a comfort scent, not a seducer. Longevity is middling at best—three hours before it’s a skin scent, and sillage is polite enough for an office if the office allows candlelit vibes. Who should wear it?
