Our take

Neige opens with a pale, slightly waxy peach that feels more decorative than juicy, sitting beside a ylang-ylang that leans a bit heavy and old-fashioned. The fruit never really tastes fresh here. It is a surface detail that fades into the background as the heart takes over, leaving behind a powdery floral cloud that can feel a little dense if the air is warm.

Inside a cool room with sunlight hitting a wool coat, the narcissus and violet rise through a soft iris dust. Jasmine adds a creamy weight while sandalwood and amber settle underneath, giving the flowers a gentle wood and balsamic floor. Vanilla and musk wrap the edges so the air feels rounded and calm rather than sharp or bright. The green accord keeps the petals from smelling flat.

A woman who likes her florals powdered and her vanilla quiet will feel at home here. It fits a slow morning when the windows are closed and the light is pale, or an evening walk when the air is crisp enough to make a scarf necessary.
