The kitchen window is open and the morning light sits on the counter. A bowl of warm spice rests here, cinnamon and nutmeg placed together so the air feels gently heated. The room is quiet, the kind of stillness that lets a scent settle into the corners without rushing.
Saffron moves through the middle, its soft golden tone meeting patchouli that feels earthy and calm. The mixture is not loud. It behaves like a material you can touch, grounded and steady while the kitchen fills with a comfortable heat.
Virginia cedar brings a dry wood that keeps the center from feeling heavy. Tonka bean and tobacco add a rounded sweetness, while Siam benzoin smooths the edges. Musk sits underneath, giving the whole space a clean, close texture that feels natural and composed.
The scene stays bright and warm, held together by spice and wood in equal measure. Jérôme di Marino composed this 2024 release for For Them as a unisex oriental that feels at home in a sunlit room. The final impression is vanilla.
