Our take

Cotton candy is the note that gives Pink Sugar its whole identity, spun-sugar sweet and instantly recognizable from across a store shelf, with caramel folding in underneath to add real depth, not just fluff. Musk shows up much later, rounding the sweetness into something that clings to skin, not sitting on the surface, and sandalwood gives the base just enough grain to feel like more than syrup.

This has real endurance once it's on, and the sillage keeps its presence in a narrow ring, close enough to notice on the wearer without filling a whole space. Winter pulls hardest here by a wide margin, though the day score still dominates night, so this leans toward daytime wear even in the colder months of the year.

Raspberry, strawberry and licorice add fruit and a faint anise twist in the middle, so the sugar note has some texture instead of sitting flat the whole time, and fig leaf at the very top gives one green moment before the sweetness fully takes over. It stays candy-sweet and unapologetic from the moment it's sprayed to the last trace on skin, sugar-forward enough that sampling first is a genuinely good idea for anyone unsure.
