Prestizs
Fragrance notes
Character
Someone who wants a fragrance with weight chooses Prestizs. It is for the person walking through a dim courtyard where the air is cool and the streetlamps reflect off wet pavement. The opening brings ylang-ylang and bergamot together, bright at first, then quickly joined by cloves that lend a dry heat. Lily-of-the-valley adds a clean edge to the start, keeping the florals from feeling heavy too soon.
The heart turns toward tuberose and patchouli, a pair that gives the scent a soil-like depth beneath the petals. Vetiver and coriander twist through the middle, adding a green, slightly spicy texture that feels deliberate. The composition carries well through a long evening without shrinking against the skin, and its presence is clear to those nearby as the denser notes unfold. It is sweet and amber-rich, yet the earthy side keeps it grounded rather than sugary.
Leather and tobacco anchor the final stage, sitting heavily alongside the amber. The animalic accord surfaces here, giving the drydown a rugged finish that suits a quiet, introspective mood. It is aromatic and woody, with a yellow floral thread that never fully disappears. Composed by Antonina Vitkovskaya, this Dzintars release feels like a relic of 1982 that still holds its own. The scent settles into leather.
