Chapter 01
Fragrance notes
Character
Raspberry and saffron lead the opening with a bright, slightly tart fruitiness that sits beside a dry leather edge. Mate adds a green, tea-like bitterness that keeps the start from feeling sugary. Myrrh forms the heart with a resinous weight that deepens the spice and pulls the fruit toward something darker. The base brings ambergris, ambroxan, incense and musk together into a warm, balsamic drydown that feels smooth and slightly mineral. The amber and woody accords dominate here, while the musk rounds the texture so the resin does not turn sharp.
Composed by Olivier Cresp and released in 2023, this unisex scent carries a rich, evening mood that suits low light and quiet streets. It feels polished and modern rather than raw, with the synthetic amber materials giving it a clean finish. The raspberry note is noticeable but not playful, and the leather stays restrained throughout. The limitation is that the fruit and the resin never quite settle into a single clear identity, so the scent can feel like two different compositions layered without a firm bridge between them.
