Honey arrives first, thick and golden, dripping over a calm lavender that smells more like a pillow than a garden. Iris brings a soft powder that settles into the chocolate, which is dark and slightly bitter rather than milky. Leather sits beside the coffee, both dry and sturdy, giving the heart a material weight that pulls the sweetness downward. Vanilla waits in the base, smooth and rounded, held in place by Haitian vetiver with its damp earth and Virginia cedar with its clean wood. Musk ties the bottom together so the finish feels warm and close to the skin.
The whole composition feels like standing in a dim room where a lit candle melts into a wool coat left on a chair. Powder from the iris floats in the air while the chocolate and coffee rest on a wooden table nearby. Honey lingers on the rim of a cup, and the vetiver adds the cool scent of rain on soil outside the window. Cedar and musk keep the space grounded so the sweetness never floats away.
