A velvet curtain hangs heavy in a dim lounge where wood smoke curls near the ceiling. Someone sits in a leather chair with a glass of dark spirit, and the air around them carries amber and sandalwood that feel warm against the cool air drifting through the cracked window. Petitgrain and bergamot add a bright edge that keeps the room from feeling too heavy, while violet lends a soft powder that rests on the sleeves of a wool coat. Patchouli sits underneath it all with a damp earth quality that makes the space feel lived in. Ambergris brings a salty animalic breath that reminds you the room was occupied long before you walked in, and the balsamic weight of the blend sticks to the wood panels and the rug.
The glass catches a little light from a lamp in the corner, and the person in the chair shifts just enough to let the scent move through the small space again.
