True Brotherhood
Fragrance notes
Character
True Brotherhood opens with a bright citrus mix of orange and lemon that carries a sharp edge. Cinnamon sits immediately beside them, adding heat to the fruit and steering the opening away from a simple fresh start. The spices feel dry rather than sugary, and the citrus does not dominate for long.
The heart shifts toward tobacco and cypress, with lavender smoothing the transition. Tobacco brings a deep, slightly coarse texture that grounds the lighter top notes. Cypress adds a resinous green tone, while lavender contributes a clean floral calm that keeps the tobacco from becoming too heavy.
Cedar and incense form a steady base, supported by the soft sweetness of tonka bean. The incense gives a faint smoky trace that lingers beneath the wood. Cedar feels dry and firm, and tonka rounds the edges without turning the blend into a dessert scent. The amber and balsamic accords sit in the background, adding warmth.
The air smells of cedar planks and cooled embers in a room lit only by a single low lamp.
