Tygar keeps its note list short on purpose: grapefruit up top, ginger and ambrette in the heart, ambroxan, musk, vetiver and patchouli underneath. Four movements, no clutter, and Jacques Cavallier Belletrud clearly trusted each one to carry real weight rather than leaning on a crowded formula to do the work.
