Our take

Green apple and lemon open Wanted with a crisp, almost soda-like snap, and ginger and mint keep the top bright and a touch spicy. It settles in with genuine persistence, holding its shape well past the opening burst, and the sillage forms a modest cloud, felt easily by anyone standing close. Cardamom and juniper move it into spicier, greener territory through the heart, drier than the fruity top suggests. Geranium adds a faintly rosy note that bridges the fruity top and the drier heart underneath.

Tonka bean softens the base into something warm and faintly sweet, while amberwood and Haitian vetiver keep the composition grounded and slightly dry, short of turning fully gourmand. Vanilla shows up only as an undertone, more texture than flavor, and the woody amber accord dominates by the drydown.

It works well across most of the year, versatile enough for the office or a casual weekend, without ever feeling like a special-occasion scent, a dependable rather than a dramatic choice. Fabrice Pellegrin and Olivier Cresp built it as a fairly linear, easy-to-wear composition, closer to a modern barbershop scent than to anything experimental, and that straightforwardness is both its strength and its ceiling.
