Solo Amber
Fragrance notes
Character
Solo Amber leans heavily into its gourmand side, and that is where it may lose some wearers. The opening is thick with caramel and hazelnut, a combination that can feel cloying if you prefer airy compositions. It does not offer a light introduction, and those who dislike sweet scents will find little relief here.
The heart brings tolu balsam and myrrh, adding a resinous depth that grounds the initial sugar. Coriander introduces a slight herbal lift, though it stays in the background. Vetiver provides a dry contrast, but the overall impression remains rooted in warmth rather than freshness.
Coquillete builds the base with amber, benzoin, labdanum, and vanilla. The inclusion of Ambrostar™ and ambergris pushes the blend toward a modern, synthetic glow that sits close to the skin. It creates a cozy atmosphere perfect for a dimly lit room where a crackling fireplace casts long shadows on wooden floors.
You stand near the hearth, wrapped in a heavy knitted blanket, with a half-empty mug of spiced cider cooling on the table beside you.
