Nº 23
Fragrance notes
Character
Nº 23 can feel a little crowded when all its white petals collide at once. The ylang-ylang and grapefruit open bright, but the heart piles lily, jasmine, and rose together so tightly that individual shapes blur. It is a sweet, amber-heavy composition that leans into its animalic accord with a slightly indolic breath. Some wearers will find the patchouli too muddy for such a sunny bouquet. The petitgrain tries to lift the weight, though it disappears quickly under the orange blossom.
This is a fragrance for a sunlit courtyard where white stone reflects heat and a glass table holds a bowl of citrus segments beside a vase of cut stems. The air feels thick with pollen and warm resin. It suits someone who enjoys a floral that refuses to stay polite, yet it will overwhelm anyone who prefers clean, sheer skin scents. There is a golden, slightly sticky glow to the whole experience, as if the flowers were arranged in a room filled with late afternoon light.
