Ginger

Character
Morning light hits the kitchen windows while a pot of tea steeps on the counter. VeraLab Ginger lives in this room. The opening arrives with a bright, slightly peppery kick of ginger root, joined by the cool, green bite of coriander and a breath of anise that smells like crushed seeds near a warm stove. It feels immediate and awake, a sharp contrast to the cold glass outside.
As the tea is poured, the air shifts. Tobacco leaf unfolds with a soft, dusty heliotrope and the dark juice of a plum. The spice does not disappear, but it settles into a comfortable warmth. Vanilla and tonka bean rise from the base, thick and sweet, while styrax and Peru balsam add a smooth, resinous depth that makes the space feel enclosed and cozy.
The steam from the cup carries the scent upward, mixing with the sunlight that falls across the wooden table. Ginger, plum, and vanilla hover in the air between the tea leaves and the quiet morning, a moment of heat and comfort held still in a single room before the day begins to move.
