Oud Reale is not an easy reach when the day is already warm. The vanilla and balsam in the base sit heavy, and the sweetness can feel a little blunt if the air around you is thick.
Luca Gritti built this around a resinous oud that feels polished rather than wild. Lemon and ginger give the opening a bright, clean edge, but pink pepper and vetiver quickly pull the scent toward dry earth and smoke. Jasmine and orchid soften the spices without making the blend floral in a traditional sense. Gurjan balsam adds a deep amber tone that pairs with the musk to create a smooth, expensive texture. It suits someone who enjoys resinous woods and does not mind a fragrance that asks for attention.
Picture a dimly lit stone courtyard where a single brass lantern throws a warm glow across weathered wood and a carved bowl of citrus.
