Our take

There is a faint animalic warmth running through Bamboo from very early on, as if the white flowers were sitting against warm skin instead of in a vase. Bergamot opens it, then almost immediately the lily takes charge, thick and slightly waxy the way Casablanca lilies smell right after they are cut. Ylang-ylang and orange blossom widen that white floral core without turning it sharp. Sandalwood, Tahitian vanilla, and amber arrive late and turn the drydown soft and a little powdery, like warmed skin cream. The lily stays present the whole way through, never fully handing off to the base.

Staying power holds at a plain, in-between pace, present through an afternoon without much upkeep, and the sillage stays in a soft, close range, easy to catch if someone leans in, warm without turning loud. A wearer who wants a lily that stays crisp and green throughout might prefer a different bottle, since Bamboo turns warm and skin-like fast.

That combination makes Bamboo an easy warm-weather fragrance, especially through spring and summer when the citrus opening feels bright against the heat. It leans heavier by fall as the animalic base sits closer against cooler skin. Bamboo carries that animalic warmth as its signature, turning a fairly simple lily into something that smells already worn in.
