Coccole di Lavanda is a chypre floral built for the person who wants a garden scent with real soil under its roots. The opening pairs bergamot with apricot and plum, but the fruit never tastes candied. It feels like walking past a tree where the skin of the fruit has split in the sun. Ylang-ylang and rose arrive quickly, yet the lavender holds them upright so the heart stays structured rather than soft.
The base explains why this works as a grounded floral. Guaiac wood and patchouli give the vanilla a dry spine, and the moss pulls the sweetness back toward the earth every time it threatens to drift. The result is aromatic and woody at once, with a yellow floral character that feels sunlit rather than powdered. It suits cooler days and evening wear because the resinous base needs air to breathe.
