Greed opens with a sharp lift from juniper berry, joined by the green, root-like edge of angelica and a dry pinch of nutmeg. The spices feel brisk rather than hot, giving the entrance a clean, upright posture that stays away from sweetness.
The heart introduces geranium and cinnamon, where the cinnamon adds a warm, dry bark tone that sits close to the skin of the geranium leaf. Coffee and rum follow, with the coffee reading as roasted and slightly bitter while the rum brings a round, fermented softness that smooths the spices without turning them sugary.
Cedar and incense lead the base, offering a dry woodiness that is met by a thin trail of smoke from the incense. Patchouli adds an earthy depth, and ambergris rounds the lower half with a salty, musky warmth that pulls the woods and spices into a single, steady body.
The overall character is fresh spicy and aromatic at first, then moves through warm spicy and balsamic phases before settling into woody, smoky, powdery and musky tones. Cinnamon and amber remain the clearest threads across the wear.
