Our take

You spritz Koala and the world slows down. Eucalyptus and pine burst first, sharp and camphoraceous like cracking a fresh twig, but honey and mimosa immediately soften the edge into something drowsy and golden. It feels less like a fragrance and more like a koala dozing in the fork of a gum tree, one paw loosely gripping a branch, breath slow and sweet. The heart unfolds as a steam of black tea and incense, with a dusty, almost peppery vetiver and a faint geranium whisper. Spices curl through without dominating, warm but restrained. The dry down is all powdery oakmoss and sandalwood, a soft musky amber base that stays close to the skin like a gentle sigh.

This is not a scent that announces itself. Sillage sits at a modest 2.70, and longevity hovers around 3.39 rarely past four or five hours on me. It is natural and quietly characterful, the kind of niche creation that rewards close company rather than crowd control. The green camphor and powdery musk make it ideal for spring and summer days when you want to feel clean but not scrubbed, aromatic but not piercing.

Koala suits the person who appreciates subtlety and a touch of eccentricity a lover of herbal teas, of reading under a blanket, of slow mornings. Skip it if you crave projection or a statement beast. Wear it to a farmers market, a botanical garden, or a lazy afternoon where the only thing you need to impress is your own sense of peace.
