The citrus is bright rather than sharp, giving the first minutes a sunny, uplifting character that suits a morning routine or a walk outside. Neroli enters soon after and softens the edges, adding a gentle floral warmth that keeps the start from feeling lean or overly tart.
The deeper part of Leo is where the composition spends most of its time. Vanilla grows steadily through the heart and settles into the base, where jasmine and musk carry it forward. The white floral accord feels smooth and slightly creamy, while the musk adds a skin-like closeness that makes the vanilla feel personal instead of heavy. A faint fresh spicy thread runs underneath and prevents the sweetness from becoming flat.
Composed by Olivier Funel and launched in 2008, Leo wears well in cool air and natural light, matching a mood that is cheerful without being loud.
