Our take

The sun sits high over a stone terrace where a breeze moves through open windows. Tangerine and bergamot press against the air first, bright and immediate, while cardamom and ginger add a clean lift that keeps the citrus from feeling flat. It reads like a morning that has already warmed up, the kind of light that makes colors look sharper and the air feel thinner.

Lotus and tuberose unfold as the space fills in, ylang-ylang rounding the edges so the white flowers never turn sharp. A thread of incense moves through the petals, giving the floral heart a faint resinous weight that stops it from floating completely. The scene stays outdoors, the flowers anchored by something dry and faintly smoky that belongs to the stone beneath the table.

Patchouli and vetiver step in as the wood begins to show. Sandalwood smooths the surface while vanilla adds a thin layer of comfort, though it never takes over. The blend feels composed and steady, the way a garden smells when the heat has pulled every note out of the ground at once. It is vivid, a little dense, and entirely present in the light.

The one drawback is the tuberose. It dominates the heart so fully that the lotus and ylang-ylang rarely get a clear word in, and the spice from the opening disappears faster than the flowers do. If you find tuberose overwhelming in strong sun, this terrace will feel crowded no matter how much air is moving through it.
