Our take

Salas Oceane greets you with a sharp lemon and bergamot brightness that feels immediate and clean. Artemisia adds a slightly bitter, green edge to that citrus opening, steering it away from a simple fruit splash. It is a crisp start that feels more outdoors than office, more movement than stillness.

Pineapple enters soon after, but it is not a candy-like sweetness. Geranium and lavender wrap around it, lending a dry, herbal structure that keeps the fruit grounded. The heart feels aromatic and slightly powdery, with the lavender providing a classic, soapy freshness that many will find familiar.

The base is where the character shifts. Creamy sandalwood and cedar provide a smooth wood foundation, but the oud here is prominent and very synthetic. It carries a plastic, rubbery sharpness that clashes with the natural warmth of the amber and tonka bean. That artificial oud note dominates the drydown and defines the scent's final impression.

This is a fragrance for someone who enjoys a loud, woody drydown and does not mind a synthetic edge. It suits cooler weather and casual settings where a bold statement is welcome. Those who prefer natural smelling woods or a clean, purely herbal finish should avoid this. The plastic quality of the oud is a significant drawback that limits its appeal.
