Oud Noir opens with tobacco and saffron that feel dry and resinous. The tobacco carries a faint metallic edge that keeps the spice from feeling soft. Saffron adds a warm, slightly leathery heat that sits close to the skin and prepares the transition into the denser heart.
Guaiac wood and sandalwood form a polished wooden core that feels smooth rather than rough. Chocolate appears here but stays dark and bitter, never turning milky or dessert-like. Jasmine floats above the woods as a thin floral veil that prevents the composition from becoming too heavy or entirely opaque.
Smoke and oud anchor the base with a deep, resinous weight. Vanilla and amber add a rounded sweetness that balances the bitter chocolate and the dry tobacco from the opening. Musk lingers underneath, giving the entire structure a powdery finish that feels classic and composed.
