Bitter almond and bergamot open Lost Tribe’s Pan’s Labyrinth with a clean, sharp edge. The almond is bright rather than powdery, and the bergamot keeps it from leaning gourmand. Rose oil sits just behind them, adding a petal-soft fullness before the heart notes fully arrive. This stage feels precise and controlled, like a line drawn in clear ink.
Lavender and coumarin form the center of the fragrance. The lavender is dry and herbal, and the coumarin brings a mild, hay-like sweetness that ties the flower to the base. Rose and ylang-ylang add a slight floral weight, while patchouli keeps the mix grounded. Nothing here smells synthetic or overly polished. It feels put together with care, not rushed.
The base is dark and resinous. Malaysian oud and bakhoor give it smoke and depth, while labdanum and oakmoss add a damp, forest-floor quality. Sandalwood smooths the edges just enough to keep it wearable. Fir and natural musk linger at the edges, adding a quiet, animalic pull. Together, they create a finish that feels ancient and composed.
