Amber sits alongside them from the first moment, giving the entrance a warm, resinous weight that prevents the citrus from feeling sharp. The initial impression is sweet and aromatic, leaning immediately into the vanilla and powdery accords that define the fragrance.
The heart introduces tobacco and cedar. The tobacco here is smooth and blended with the honey that rises from the base, creating a thick, golden sweetness that dominates the middle phase. Cedar provides a dry, woody backbone that keeps the composition from becoming entirely syrupy. As the scent develops, the tonka bean and musk emerge, reinforcing the amber and floral facets while maintaining a heavy, gourmand character that feels dense on the skin.
This is a fragrance composed almost entirely of sugar and resin. The honey and vanilla notes are potent and unrelenting, which makes the scent feel somewhat one-dimensional after a period of wear.
