Character
Cardamom and coffee CO2 open with a brisk, slightly bitter snap that cuts through the sweetness waiting underneath. The dark chocolate and brown sugar in the heart lean heavy, yet the raspberry keeps the blend from becoming a flat block of sugar. Rose and Egyptian jasmine add a floral lift that feels deliberate rather than decorative. The base holds oud and incense that linger far longer than a lighter composition would allow, and the vanilla and tonka bean carry the scent outward so that it announces itself without needing a crowd to notice.
Benzoin and styrax give the middle a resinous thickness that pairs well with rum and heliotrope. Bourbon vanilla smooths the edges but does not hide the wood. Cashmere wood and cedar sit beside ambrocenide and muscenone, creating a dry, polished foundation that feels suited to a dimly lit room where glasses are low and conversation stays close. The lemon and bergamot from the top fade early, leaving the spice and resin to do the work.
