Unleashed
Fragrance notes
Unleashed opens with a sharp, peppery edge that can feel thin and slightly abrasive on first spray. The black currant and apple add a tart fruitiness, but the pepper and juniper push forward quickly, creating a bright and somewhat prickly start. It is not a smooth or rounded introduction, and the citrus from the bergamot does little to soften the initial bite.
The heart settles into a mix of jasmine and patchouli, with the white floral note providing a soft contrast to the resinous, earthy patchouli. Birch and cypress bring a dry, woody character that aligns with the sage, giving the middle phase a clean and herbal feel. The transition from the spicy top to this aromatic center is steady, moving the scent from sharp fruit toward a greener, more textured profile.
In the base, oakmoss and amber create a classic chypre foundation. The oakmoss adds an earthy depth, while the amber contributes a warm, golden tone that sits close to the skin. Musk rounds out the composition, lending a subtle softness to the woody and aromatic elements that came before. The overall impression is dry rather than sweet, leaning into its green and mossy facets.
The scent feels like walking through a damp forest where the trees are surrounded by wild berry bushes.
