Peru balsam adds a smooth, sticky sweetness that never becomes cloying, and a faint animalic breath from ambergris keeps the room feeling lived in. Vetiver grounds the scene with a rooty, soil-like calm. It is a woody amber that feels constructed, not stumbled upon, with each material clearly placed.
The shavings on the floor smell of cedar and pepper. The amber glows against the grain of the wood. Leather and balsam linger near the tools.
