Khamrah Qahwa
Fragrance notes
Character
Khamrah Qahwa opens on cinnamon, cardamom and ginger, warm and a little sharp, before praline and candied fruits pull it toward something closer to dessert than a typical spice blend. White flowers add a light lift in the middle, though sweetness is clearly the point here, not a side effect of anything else going on. The base settles into vanilla, coffee, tonka bean, benzoin and musk, dark and syrupy, with the coffee giving it a bitter, roasted counterpoint to all that sugar and cream.
It holds firm on skin for a long stretch and projects with real reach, noticeable enough that a single spray does the job in most rooms. Winter and the darker months of the year suit it best, when a heavier, spiced sweetness feels welcome rather than overwhelming, and evenings favor it far more than daylight hours ever will.
Wear it to a dinner where a bold, sweet oriental feels appropriate, or to a cold evening out with friends. It is a lot of fragrance for a bright afternoon or a formal office, so save it for occasions that can carry the weight it brings.
