Classique Eau de Parfum Airlines
Fragrance notes
Character
Classique Eau de Parfum Airlines opens with rum and rose. The rum brings a warm, slightly boozy edge that softens the bright floral opening. Rose sits beside it without dominating, letting the spice lead early on.
Narcissus and vanilla orchid form the heart. The narcissus adds a yellow floral tone that feels slightly indolic and rich. Vanilla orchid smooths the transition toward the base, keeping the floral side from turning sharp.
Tonka bean, vanilla, amber, and sandalwood build a warm, powdery drydown. The vanilla and amber carry most of the sweetness, while sandalwood adds a creamy wood that grounds the blend. The scent stays near the body and does not push outward as the hours pass. It remains present through a normal day without requiring frequent touch-ups.
The composition leans sweet and powdery throughout. The rum note gives it a slight lift at the start, but the drydown settles into a heavy vanilla-amber that can feel dense on warmer skin. It suits cooler air and evening wear best. The one drawback is that the rum and rose fade faster than the heavier base, leaving the later wear smelling mostly like vanilla and amber with little floral lift.
