2215
Fragrance notes
2215 opens with a bright citrus blend of orange and mandarin orange, sharpened by ginger, basil, and mint. Suede appears early among the top notes, adding a soft texture to the fresh opening. The heart introduces patchouli and cedar alongside jasmine and Brazilian rosewood. The floral elements stay restrained while the woods take a more prominent role. The transition moves steadily from fresh spice into a drier, more grounded character.
The base defines the fragrance. Leather and birch create a firm, slightly smoky foundation. Oakmoss and musk support this structure with a muted, earthy presence. The leather does not dominate aggressively. It sits close to the woods and allows the green and powdery accords to remain noticeable. The composition feels dry rather than sweet, and the aromatic and spicy facets stay present throughout the drydown. The jasmine is subtle and does not push the fragrance toward a fresh floral direction. The limitation here is the suede and mint in the opening. They feel slightly synthetic and create a small disconnect from the natural woods that follow.
