Alpha 11
Fragrance notes
Character
Alpha 11 opens with a bright, unusual mix of banana and mint that feels fresh and slightly playful. Saffron adds a warm, metallic edge that keeps the start from leaning too far into fruit. The transition moves into a dense white floral heart where tuberose leads with a creamy, heady weight. Jasmine and ylang ylang support that richness with soft petals and a faint tropical tilt. The composition stays sweet throughout, but the florals carry a green, slightly bitter stem quality that prevents the blend from becoming flat or one-dimensional.
The drydown is where the fragrance settles into its true character. Tobacco and incense bring a dry, resinous smoke that wraps around the remaining floral sweetness. Tonka bean adds a smooth, almond-like warmth that bridges the gap between the flowers and the darker base. Civet introduces an animalic touch that feels raw and slightly musky, giving the scent a bold, unclean edge that some will find magnetic and others will find challenging. The amber accord lingers underneath, tying the spicy and sweet elements together. It suits a cold night where the air is crisp and the mood is intimate, pairing well with heavy knits and dim lighting.
