Bella
Fragrance notes
Character
Pear blossoms and rum sit at the center of Bella. The vanilla here is thick and powdery, coating the fruit instead of brightening it. Nathalie Lorson composed this 2024 release for Laverne, and the blend feels deliberate rather than accidental.
Bella belongs in a room lit only by candles, where the air is warm and the music is low. The pear and peach do not sparkle. They lean into the sandalwood and musk, creating a heavy, sweet atmosphere. It is a scent that matches velvet and late evening plans. The white floral accord adds a soft blur, never sharp or clean.
Patchouli anchors the composition, but it pushes the sweetness into a cluttered space. There are too many accords competing at once, and the aquatic note feels out of place among the rum and vanilla. The result is a fragrance that loses its focus. It smells pleasant, yet it lacks a clear identity.
