Bleu de Chanel Parfum

Bleu de Chanel Parfum is built to be worn almost anywhere, at a desk or at dinner, without changing character much between the two. Lemon zest, bergamot and mint open it crisp and cool, with artemisia adding a slightly bitter green note underneath the citrus. Lavender and pineapple move in for the heart, an odd but effective pairing, herbal on one side and faintly fruity on the other, with geranium and green notes keeping the whole thing fresh.

The lavender and pineapple sitting against each other is what makes the middle stage interesting, a combination that shouldn't work on paper but gives it real character where a plain citrus-to-woods handoff would otherwise sit.
