Bucephalus X
Fragrance notes
Character
Bucephalus X opens with bergamot, grapefruit, ginger and pepper. The citrus is bright and the spice is immediate, but the top notes step aside before long. Apple and geranium move in next, joined by cinnamon, lavender and a leather accent that keeps the heart from leaning fully sweet. The composition stays aromatic and green, with the fruit and the herbs sharing space instead of competing.
The drydown carries vetiver, labdanum, patchouli and myrrh. Vetiver brings a clean, earthy edge while patchouli adds weight and myrrh contributes a resinous depth that lingers on the skin. Labdanum rounds the base with a warm, slightly sticky resin that holds the other notes together. The scent stays near the body and remains present through a normal day without extending far beyond the wearer. It suits cooler weather and daytime wear, though the spice also works in the evening. The leather and the resin may feel heavy to anyone who prefers crisp, minimal compositions. The patchouli stays noticeable as the resin settles in
