Character
Sicilian lemon and black currant open together, tart citrus against a darker, jammier fruit, with unnamed spicy notes giving the top a little heat. Patchouli leaf and water jasmine take over in the heart, green and slightly bitter against all that fruit up top, fruity notes lingering just underneath to smooth the transition between the two.
Cedar, leather and moss build a dry, woody base, where the fragrance sticks with real persistence, readable on skin well after the citrus has burned off, picked up easily by whoever's sitting next to you, a calm presence, not a loud one. White musk softens the leather just enough to keep it wearable instead of harsh.
Spring and summer bring out the best in it, though it carries decently into fall as the citrus starts to matter less. Vanilla in the base adds a last touch of sweetness against all that leather and moss, balancing the citrus opening with something warmer by the finish and giving the whole thing a rounder, less austere character than the sharp top notes first suggest it will have.
