Elite opens with green mandarin and jasmine sambac lifted by a clear honey tone. The citrus is bright and lightly bitter, the jasmine adds a fresh white floral edge, and the honey gives a soft, golden sweetness that does not become heavy. The heart moves into guava, strawberry, apple, plum, and black currant leaf, with tuberose and jasmine adding creamy white floral depth and jujube blossom bringing a gentle, slightly powdery floral touch. Patchouli sits underneath with an earthy green texture that keeps the fruit from feeling flat. The fruit is ripe and tropical, but the green leaf and patchouli give it a garden-like freshness that suits a warm day outdoors.
The base brings Chinese oud and Indian oud together with ambergris, amber, oakmoss, civet, orris, and musk. The oud is woody and resinous, the ambergris and amber add warm, salty-sweet depth, and the civet, musk, and orris create a powdery, animalic finish that feels dense and slightly vintage. Oakmoss adds a cool green earthiness that balances the rich base. The result is fruity, green, animalic, amber, sweet, musky, white floral, tropical, powdery, and earthy.
