Fiona
Fragrance notes
Character
A dim lounge hums with low conversation and the clink of glass. Fiona lives in this room. Champaca and frangipani drift through the air, softened by ylang-ylang and jasmine, while pink lotus and white lotus add a watery freshness. Beneath that floral layer, castoreum, civet, hyrax, and goat hair tincture bring a dense animalic weight that clings to fabric and skin for hours. Indian oud and Laotian oud anchor the blend with a woody, smoky depth, and natural musk, ambergris, and oakmoss pull the scent close to the body rather than pushing it outward across the space. Madagascar vanilla and tonka bean add a powdery sweetness that balances the leathery edge. Moroccan rose and jasmine sambac round out the scent with a gentle floral lift.
The richness is undeniable, but the animalic notes are intense. Civet and hyrax give Fiona a rawness that can feel overwhelming in an enclosed setting. Goat hair tincture and castoreum push the scent into challenging territory, and the heavy musk and ambergris only deepen that density. For anyone who prefers clean, transparent florals, this composition will feel too dirty and too thick. The smoky oud and leather accords leave no room for lightness, and the sweet vanilla cannot soften the edges enough. It is a demanding perfume that asks for tolerance and patience.
