Our take

Fire Aries leans hard into its caramel and peach heart, and the result can feel heavy for anyone expecting a bright spring floral. The citron and bergamot open with a sharp, sunny lift, but that clarity disappears once the middle notes arrive. African orange flower and jasmine provide a creamy white floral blanket, while violet and pink tulip add a powdery softness that pushes the scent toward a confectionery mood. It is a dense, sugary composition rather than a crisp citrus, and the fruit here smells candied instead of fresh.

Composed by Olivier Funel, this unisex release swaps the usual airy elegance for a thick, dessert-like warmth. Oakmoss and Virginia cedar try to ground the sweetness with earthy and woody edges, yet the caramel remains the loudest voice in the room. Sandalwood smooths the base, but it cannot cut through the sugar. The overall impression is a floral gourmand that stays firmly in one lane, offering a cozy, indulgent atmosphere that feels more suited to quiet evenings than active days.

Wear this when you want to smell like a pastry shop wrapped in flowers. It brings a nostalgic, almost vintage sweetness that many will find charming, but it lacks the balance needed to feel modern or versatile. If you prefer clean citrus or dry woods, the overwhelming caramel and powder will likely bother you. The fragrance commits fully to its gourmand identity, which is exactly why it succeeds for some and fails completely for others.
