Rose opens the experience with a soft, powdery presence. Incense follows closely, adding a dry, gray edge to the petals. Geranium sits in the background, lending a faint green pinch that keeps the florals from feeling too rounded.
Resins arrive in the heart and coat the saffron. The spice is deep and leathery rather than bright. Together they create a thick, golden texture that feels heavy on the skin.
Guaiac wood and oud lead the base. Cypriol adds a damp, earthy soil note beneath the amber. Patchouli and sandalwood expand the wood pile, while cedar gives a dry splinter. Musk lingers at the very edges of the blend.
A heavy wool coat in a dim hallway carries this scent well. The air is cool and still. Wood smoke drifts from a nearby fireplace. The amber glow on the walls matches the resinous warmth wrapped around the wearer.
