Our take

Greg Energy opens with a bright, slightly rough citrus mix. Orange and lemon lead, backed by grapefruit that adds a sharp edge. Lavender softens the entry without turning it sweet. The start feels energetic and a little loud, like walking outside on a cool morning when the air still bites.

Eucalyptus and basil take over quickly. The heart is herbal and cooling, with sage adding a dry green tone. Cedar gives the middle some backbone while jasmine stays far in the background. This phase smells clean and medicinal rather than floral, leaning into the camphor accord that defines the fragrance.

The base settles into moss and sandalwood. Musk and amber round it out, but the moss keeps things earthy and slightly powdery. It never becomes heavy or warm. The wood feels dry and the moss gives it a damp, forest floor quality that pairs well with the herbal heart.

The blend is cohesive but the synthetic edge in the citrus never fully disappears. The eucalyptus can feel sharp enough to irritate the nose, and the powdery drydown lacks depth. It is a straightforward aromatic green that does not try to be subtle.
