Composed by Arthur Clay Emrick, this Jinx Smells release leans into its floral heart with Bulgarian rose, Turkish rose, jasmine sambac, white champaca, boronia, iris and blue lotus, all wrapped in frankincense. The effect is lush and slightly powdery, sitting between a grand floral and a smoky temple interior. Mysore sandalwood, Cambodian oud, Thailand oud, tobacco, myrrh, natural musk and civet anchor the base, adding an animalic depth that will thrill some and overwhelm others. It suits someone who enjoys bold, resinous compositions and does not mind a strong musky presence. Those who prefer clean, transparent scents should look elsewhere.
