Neros
Fragrance notes
Character
Neros opens with a bright spray of mandarin orange and bergamot that carries the clean lift of orange blossom. Saffron adds a warm, slightly metallic edge that keeps the citrus from feeling simple. Rose geranium rounds out the top with a green, slightly peppery floral touch that feels more structured than decorative.
The heart shifts toward red fruits and raspberry, which lend a juicy, candied sweetness. Birch introduces a dry, smoky leather tone that cuts through the sugar, while incense adds a resinous, prayer-like weight. Jasmine sits in the background, offering a soft white floral haze that bridges the fruit and the smoke without dominating either.
Vanilla and benzoin create a thick, amber-heavy base that feels dense and slightly sticky. Sandalwood and cedar provide a dry wood foundation, though the oud here reads more like a synthetic rubber accord than a natural resin. The overall composition is quite sweet, and the rubbery oud may feel out of place to those who prefer a cleaner wood finish.
