Black currant and plum give the opening a thick, jammy fruitiness. Pear brightens the first minutes with a crisp edge. Pink pepper adds a sharp lift that keeps the fruit from lying flat.
The heart turns powdery fast. Iris and rose create a soft, cosmetic haze over the jasmine. Patchouli here is earthy and dark, pulling the flowers down into the base. Praline and benzoin make the drydown taste like sugar dusted over resin. Vanilla and tonka bean round it out into a heavy, milky warmth.
The lactonic accord feels synthetic against the skin. It lacks the airy lift that keeps a gourmand from sitting too dense. This is a loud, sweet composition that does not offer much space to breathe.
