Our take

The spray opens with a crisp apple and black currant snap, pink pepper adding a faint sting before rose steps in to soften the edges. It moves quickly, because the real story sits in the later stages. Heliotrope and tuberose take over with a creamy weight, jasmine lending a fresh lift that keeps the white florals from becoming flat. Rose returns here, not as a bright top note but as a rounded petal layer that blends into the powdery accord. Vanilla and amber arrive together, warm and slightly resinous, with musk smoothing the edges so the finish feels like a soft blanket rather than a heavy coat. The green and fresh threads from the opening linger just enough to stop the base from turning entirely sweet.

Chris Maurice composed a scent that feels at home on a cool evening walk under streetlights, or in a room where the windows are cracked open to let autumn air mix with warm indoor light. It suits someone who enjoys powder and vanilla but still wants a floral heart that feels alive rather than dusty. The fruit is there, then it steps aside. What remains is a gentle, rounded oriental floral that stays close and personal, never loud, never sharp, and always more about comfort than statement.
