Rich Leather
Fragrance notes
Character
The citrus opening is bright and quick, with bergamot and lemon giving way to a tonka sweetness that feels more like a greeting than a statement. Juniper and moss enter soon after, keeping the early stage from leaning too heavily on the fruit. The leather arrives early and stays central, but it is not the dominant force yet.
The drydown is where the composition settles into its true weight. Tobacco and oud wrap around the leather, while saffron adds a warm, slightly metallic edge that keeps the blend from feeling flat. Green grass and precious woods pull the scent toward something outdoors, like a walk through damp trees after the sun has gone down and the air has turned cool enough to see your breath. The moss from the heart lingers here, tying the fresh start to this deeper, darker finish. There is a roughness to the leather that works against the smoothness of the tonka, creating a tension that keeps the wearer reaching for the cuff of their sleeve to catch another trace of the tobacco and wood
