Our take

Sweet Addict opens with a candied burst of pink pepper and bergamot that quickly dissolves into something softer, a bouquet of neroli and rose that feels like it was dipped in sugar. The heart is where this fragrance really commits to its name: marshmallow and orange blossom tangle with honeysuckle and jasmine, all powdery and plush, like the inside of a vintage handbag lined with silk and dusted with vanilla. Bulgarian rose and orris add a slight waxy depth, but the civet and labdanum in the base keep things from tipping into pure innocence. This is a scent that feels like a warm Sunday afternoon in a secondhand shop, where every sweater smells faintly of forgotten perfume and clean musk.

The performance is modest. Longevity hovers around three to four hours before retreating into a close white musk and vanilla skin scent, and sillage is polite rather than commanding. It wears like a cashmere sweater buttoned to the neck: comfortable, pretty, not trying to startle anyone. It suits someone who wants sweet without cloying, floral without screaming, and who values a gentle presence over projection. Skip it if you demand beast mode or prefer crisp, green, or ozonic scents. Wear it to brunch, to a daytime spring wedding, or curled up on a rainy winter afternoon when you need a soft embrace that doesn’t ask for attention.
