Our take

Juice this bright and sweet usually belongs on a summer terrace, not in a forest. The opening hits with a loud spray of bergamot, lemon, and orange that feels like stepping into direct sunlight. It is cheerful and immediate, pulling you in with a classic citrus greeting that smells clean and familiar.

That brightness does not last as the dominant voice. Peach and magnolia arrive quickly, adding a soft floral layer that leans into the sugar. Patchouli grounds the heart, giving the fruit a damp, earthy texture that keeps the sweetness from floating away completely. It is a busy middle section where the green and floral accords mingle closely.

The base settles into a heavy blanket of vanilla and tonka bean, supported by oakmoss and heliotrope. This is where the woody and mossy accords take hold, creating a powdery, dense finish that feels more suited to a city street than a walk in the woods. The vanilla is prominent, turning the scent warm and slightly creamy against the mossy backdrop.

Luca Gritti composed a fragrance that tries to bridge the gap between fresh citrus and deep woods, but the execution feels cluttered. The transition from the sharp orange top to the heavy vanilla base is abrupt, and the animal notes hinted at in the reference give it a slight roughness that some will find abrasive rather than bold.
