Our take

Fango e Pesca asks you to accept a strange premise. The peach here is damp and coated in garden soil, which sounds compelling until the coriander turns sharp enough to sting the nose. It is a bold creative step, but the spice overwhelms the fruit instead of framing it. The opening feels cluttered rather than complex, leaving little room for the violet leaves to breathe before the heavier elements arrive.

Osmanthus and jasmine attempt to soften that prickly start, sitting atop a wet earth accord that smells genuinely like dug-up ground after rain. Gurjan balsam adds a resinous warmth that keeps the scent from feeling cold, while the peach remains present but thoroughly muted by the greenery. This is not a loud composition that projects across a room, nor does it cling with heavy persistence once the oakmoss and patchouli settle in.

Tobacco and musk round out the drydown, yet the fragrance never quite recovers its balance after that aggressive coriander spike. It suits a quiet morning walk through a damp orchard where you want something earthy and distinct. If you prefer your fruity scents to be smooth and welcoming rather than challenging and rough, this specific blend will feel like a misstep you cannot ignore.
