Addict 2
Fragrance notes
Character
Watermelon and pomegranate are an unusual pair to build a heart around, and Addict 2 leans into both hard, with pineapple and lily-of-the-valley adding extra facets alongside the fruit. Freesia in particular keeps a green, slightly powdery thread running under the brighter citrus. Grapefruit, freesia, orange and bergamot open it citrusy and cool first, sharp enough to cut through the sweetness that follows.
The aquatic and ozonic accords keep it feeling wet through most of the wear, less like a fruit bowl than like fruit rinsed under cold water. White musk, cedar and sandalwood settle it down by the base, clean and only lightly woody, staying light through to the end.
From the opening on, staying power sits comfortably in the middle range, present without needing much attention until it eventually fades. Its sillage sits as a modest bubble, easy to catch for whoever's nearby. Summer daytime wear is where it belongs, the coolness of the aquatic accord matching real heat outside, and the whole composition stays energetic rather than settling into anything heavier by the finish, closer to a splash than a statement.
